About Department

The Department of Sports and Physical Education has been working efficiently since its establishment in 1971. It provides multiple facilities and opportunities to students for

participation in sports events at national and international levels. The basic facilities include a 400-meter standard track along with an Indoor Sports Facilities Center comprising two wooden badminton courts. Students have represented the college at the national level in events such as Archery, Badminton, Athletics, Cross Country, Boxing, Kho-kho, Kabbadi.

Aims and objectives

The Sports Club aims to provide the utmost facilities to the students and aims to provide the platform at International and National level sports events. The Club works with the following objectives:

• To inculcate the passion and love for different sporting activities.

• To provide the best facilities for the students at rural area.

• To promote healthy lifestyle and sports for peace and development among the students.

• To develop physical fitness of students to their maximum potential.

• To organize the workshops on health and fitness issues of students.
