The Community Related Extension Activities Cell of Bahirji Smarak Mahavidyalaya Basmathnagar consistently promotes involvement of both students and teachers to participate in various activities related to socio- economic development of neighboring community. The cell encourages participation in the various awareness and motivational programmes, field visits, projects on community development, medical camps, cleanliness programmes, community related activities under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, health awareness, environmental awareness activities and other community related extension activities.
It is dedicated to providing student teachers with practical experiences that complement their theoretical learning. It actively engages in community outreach programs that address local educational and social issues, ensuring that future educators are well-versed in the challenges and needs of the communities they will serve.
The Community Related Extension Activities Cell seeks to close the gap between academic knowledge and community needs by encouraging a culture of service and engagement among student teachers. Through extensive involvement in the community, it aims to strengthen the social and civic responsibility of aspiring teachers.
Maximum student of the college are from nearby villages. Most of the students are from economically weaker, socially downtrodden families. The parents and guardians of the students are illiterate farmers, labour working at farm and elsewhere So they are suffering from many problems such as economic, education and hygiene etc.
It aims to facilitate rural development by harnessing the expertise and resources of academic institutions. The primary goal is to narrow the gap between rural communities and educational establishments by encouraging colleges and universities to adopt villages and collaborate with local stakeholders to identify and address development needs.
To help the students for learning about collaboration.
To motivate the students for developing the qualities like teamwork, leadership skills etc.
To give an insight into the issues afflicting the society.
To enhance the experimental learning of holistic development of the society.
To maintain their hygiene and cleanliness.
To support them to get the benefits of government policies.
To empower the women socially and economically by helping them to start self-help group.
To conduct a survey and to forward it to concern authority.

It was decided in the meeting of staff under the chairmanship of principal to adopt villages nearby the college. As these villages are nearby to the colleges therefore these villages are particularly selected these villages by college.
At the beginning of every academic year the head of the committee prepare the annual action plan and submit it to the principle and sarpanch of that village. As per planning generally following programmes are organized in the adopted villages.
