A. Title:

1. . Conservation of Energy.
B. To create awareness among the young generation. Inculcate the energy values in among students. To help the clean environment and free from pollution. Protect the life of future generations.

C. The Context:

The Practice – The activities are arranged by the Department. Regarding awareness, a programme is organized on Earth Day (पृथ्वी दिन). An oath is given to the students to keep clean and pollution free environment. Dr. P. W. Patil was the chief guest of the programme and all the faculty members and students were present for this programme. To inculcate the energy values among the students, the faculty of the department had given the hands-on training to the students of solar panels. As the traditional energy sources are limited, we have to go for renewable and sustainable energy sources. Solar energy is the best answer and example for all the questions regarding energy problems. Solar energy is a clean, pollution-free, low-cost, easily available option. The students get benefited by this activity. At the same time, all the faculty members and students use simple and useful techniques such as turning off the lights and fans in the campus when no one is in the classroom and laboratory, turning off the running water taps, and participating actively in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, etc.

D. Evidence of Success:

Large number of students actively and enthusiastically participated in these activities.
