Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) is an important mechanism in any educational institution, and Bahirji Smarak Mahavidyalaya, Basmath is no exception. The GRC is formed to ensure that all grievances of the students are heard and addressed in a timely manner. This committee is formed to provide a platform for the students to raise their grievances and have them addressed in a fair and effective manner.

Aims and Objectives

Aim:

In order to ensure transparency by the institution imparting education in admissions and with paramount objective of preventing unfair practices and to provide mechanism to students / faculty / staff for redressal of their grievances.

Objectives of the Committee

The main objective of the Grievance Redressal Committee in Bahirji Smarak Mahavidyalaya, Basmath is to provide a forum to students to raise their grievances and have them addressed in a timely and effective manner. The committee is also tasked with ensuring that any grievances raised are heard and addressed without any prejudice or bias. The committee also strives to ensure that all grievances are addressed in a fair and just manner.

Scope of the Committee

The scope of the Grievance Redressal Committee in Bahirji Smarak Mahavidyalaya, Basmath is wide and varied. The Committee will address any grievances related to academic and non-academic issues, such as faculty, student facilities, administrative issues, rules and regulations, fee structure, etc. The committee also addresses grievances related to the functioning of the college, such as timely availability of study material, timely submission of assignments, timely disbursement of scholarship, etc.

Procedure of the Committee

The Grievance Redressal Committee in Bahirji Smarak Mahavidyalaya, Basmath has a well-defined procedure for addressing grievances. The student should first approach the Grievance Redressal Committee with his/her grievance. The grievance should be in writing and should contain all relevant details.
